Digital Marketing Intern
TDG, a full-stack marketing and creative agency in Charleston, SC, is seeking a Marketing Intern for the Fall of 2024. This internship will provide hands-on experience with a variety of digital marketing practices including Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing & Management, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and Search Engine Marketing (SEM). This position will be responsible for:
- Developing informative and engaging content such as blogs, articles, website pages, and social media posts
- Conducting market, competitive, and keyword research & summarizing insights
- Optimizing short and long-form content for search engine success through technical tactics
- Implementing keyword peppering through structured data and image SEO
- Promoting and building links to high traffic pages on external sources and manage backlinks
- Posting, formatting, and engaging with social media content on various platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, LinkedIn, and Instagram
- Ad copywriting, budget monitoring, and optimization for paid media platforms such as Google Ads and Bing Ads
- Creating marketing reports through tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush, Hootsuite, and more
The ideal Marketing Intern will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, an eye for detail, and be an effective manager of time. We are looking for 12-15 internship hours per workweek.
Supervision will be administered by the Digital Marketing Director (DMD). Regular meetings with the DMM to discuss active and upcoming projects, expectations and progress will be scheduled. The DMD will be accessible at all times in case of questions or need for additional training.
